Neighborhood Challenge - Christmas Activities
Good Morning!!!!! I posted this in PLL toooooo :) (Christmas fanatic!)
I am a bonafide Christmas fanatic.. Love it Love it Love it!
My family usually makes the treks to all the Christmas lights to be found (the usual suspects- Rocklin, Roseville and Dove Court in Orangevale). But I know this year is tight financially and I can't afford to do all these.. (I'll be lucky if I get to Dove Court once). Money is tight for everyone, I am sure, but what's a little bit of Holiday cheer, when all it will take is some of our time?
So here is the Challenge...
I am challenging my neighbors (and no, not just those in Cobblestone) to put some LIGHT into this holiday and decorate! It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but oooh boy, if you can do it and have the lights.. We could make our own lil "dove court" so to speak and share the Holiday spirit with our community?
What can we do?
1) Lights -easiest attraction :)
2) Lawn Decorations..
These can be cut out of cardboard and painted
Decorate the trees and landscape in your yards
3) House Decorations..
You get the picture? If we got a group of us to do this, we could set a Saturday night up and have a "Lights Drive" and meet somewhere with Hot Chocolate and goodies, a lil eggnog...and socialize SAFELY with our neighbors and community. How about say... the Saturday before Christmas??? Can we put something together by then?
Is anyone interested?
My lights are up already.. can you tell I love Christmas? ~hahaa~

Well that's good! I posted it on Plumas Lake Life and they deleted it? no reason, email, nada... Wow. What an enlightening experience...
